Police were called after somebody left a dog inside a hot car in Corner Brook yesterday. The RNC got a call around 1:00 p.m. that a dog, appearing to be in distress, was in a car in the Broadway area. The vehicle in question was gone before officers arrived.
Police remind people not to leave pets unattended in vehicles during hot, sunny days as the temperature inside quickly rises.
The outside temperature yesterday got up to 22 degrees.
