A seven-year member of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officially hung up his badge yesterday.
Police Service Dog Edge retired from duty yesterday.
Edge will now live out his retirement years with St. John’s businessman Jim Hynes who recently donated Stella, a Portuguese water dog, who will be part of the RNC’s Support Dog program.
Throwback to when Edge first joined the RNC with his handler, Cst Kevin Morgan. Edge was officially retired from the RNC today after about seven years of service. Thank-you for your service, Edge! Enjoy your retirement with Mr. Jim Hynes. #YourRNC #ThrowbackThursday pic.twitter.com/MySkHoaQmG
