Tonight is a big night in Port de Grave.
Christmas lights festooning boats in the harbour will be officially turned on this evening in what will be a virtual lighting ceremony.
MHA Pam Parsons says this year people won’t be allowed to gather on the marginal wharf, so this year the kick-off will take place virtually.
It will take place at 7:00 on the Port de Grave Boat Lighting Facebook page.
An added element has been added to the community this year—a giant crab pot Christmas tree believed to be the largest in Atlantic Canada.
