A 47-year-old Victoria man has been charged for operating an ATV with over twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
Harbour Grace RCMP say they pulled the man over after noticing the man operating the ATV on the roadway.
The machine was seized and the man’s license was impounded.
He will appear in court at a later date to answer charges of impaired driving.
The arrest comes during what has been a deadly year for ATV-related accidents in the province.
Of 17 deaths so far this year, alcohol is believed to be a factor in 10 of the incidents.
