The process has begun in finding a replacement for Nalcor CEO Stan Marshall once his contract comes to an end in 2020.
Marshall took over as CEO of Nalcor in April of 2016 after former CEO Ed Martin suddenly stepped down.
Martin’s departure followed critical comments by then-minister of finance, Cathy Bennett.
Soon after taking over, Marshall famously categorized the Muskrat Falls project as a “boondoggle”. Since then, he’s been focused on getting the project up and running, despite numerous setbacks.
Marshall was at the helm when Astaldi was removed from the site in October amid concerns that the beleaguered Italian-based company was unable to pay workers.
