A cyclist is asserting her right to ride her bicycle on city roadways.

Local lawyer, Kirsten Morry rides a bike instead of driving a vehicle when getting around town.

Morry told VOCM Sunday Drive with Darrel Power that sharing the road with a cyclist is something drivers in the city really need to work on.

A couple of times recently she has had instances where drivers did not realize that cyclists are not supposed to drive on sidewalks.

Morry says with climate change an ever-present concern, she says more needs to be done to accommodate and accept cyclists.
