A moose-vehicle collision has rendered a section of the Burin Peninsula Highway impassable.
Marystown RCMP says the section of highway between the Bay L’Argent/Jacques Fontain exit and the Terranceville/ Grand Le Pierre exit is closed completely at this hour.
Traffic moving both north and south is affected by this closure. Motorists are asked to avoid the area until further updates are provided.
There is currently no word on any injuries.
