The Marystown Mall is celebrating 50 years of service to the Burin Peninsula.
Late last week a large celebration was held to mark the milestone, including shoppers, business owners, live music and a barbecue.
The event was also an opportunity for guests to visit the Marystown Mall’s Ship Model Collection and Gallery, slated to open later this year. The gallery features over 85 model boats and records.
The space for the gallery was made available by the Dossani Family, owners of the Sterling Groupe and Marystown Mall.
