Premier Andrew Furey is once again shooting down the possibility of mass job cuts as an answer to our economic woes.

Critics of the report that the Premier’s Economic Recovery Team is putting together have suggested that it could include large cuts—including jobs.

Furey addressed the concerns of people worried that such cuts could take place, denying that such ideas are on the table.

He says now is not the time to be taking jobs out of the economy; now is the time for stimulating it.
