An online petition asking the English School District to continue with an online learning model for all schools throughout the province is picking up steam online.

Yesterday, schools outside the Avalon opened up for Scenario 2, a 50/50 model comprised of both online and in-class learning.

The petition was started by Hannah Gillingham which says that students should not be heading back to class in Alert Level 4 when gatherings of over 10 are not allowed.

It is encouraging parents, students, and teachers to sign in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

In just over five days the document has garnered over 10,000 signatures, nearing its goal of 15,000.
