A Mount Pearl man has pleaded guilty to robbing two convenience stores and trying to hold up a bank.
51-year-old Robert Murray entered the pleas in provincial court this morning through a videoconference from Her Majesty’s Penitentiary.
Two of the offenses occurred at Marie’s Minimart on Dunn’s Road in Mount Pearl and the Royal Bank on Commonwealth Avenue in November of 2019.
Murray has also pleaded guilty to robbing Red Bridge Variety in Conception Bay South in August of last year, as well as threatening staff at the stores and assaulting an employee of the bank.
A sentencing hearing has been set for May 13.
