The stigma being experienced by rotational workers and their families was addressed this week by the province’s top doctor.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald was disappointed to hear that the children of rotational workers are being bullied.
“This is completely unacceptable,” says Fitzgerald. She urges parents to take action if they witness any ill-treatment, or discrimination of a child “for any reason.”)
