A man from Lourdes was arrested and his ATV was seized by Bay St. George RCMP for driving while prohibited last week.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday, police pulled over the man who was driving the machine on the Main Road in the community.
The 41-year-old driver was arrested for driving while prohibited. He was released to appear in court at a later date and the ATV was impounded.
Another ATV was seized Sunday, this time by Harbour Grace RCMP.
Around 1:45 p.m., police observed an ATV operating on Main Street East in Salmon Cove and conducted a traffic stop.
The driver, an 18-year-old male, was driving with a suspended driver’s license, having $3,000 in outstanding fines. The ATV had no registration or insurance.
The man is set to appear in court at a later date.
