Elections NL says the deadline for receipt of mail-in Special Ballots is 4:00 p.m. March 25th.
Voters are encouraged to return their Special Ballot once received, but Elections NL says it’s premature to discuss any possible extensions at this time.
There is over one week left for voters to return their ballots by pre-paid express post.
Some candidates, particularly those in Labrador, have raised concerns about the deadline being set for receipt of ballots, rather than by postmark date.
