SportNL has launched a new social media campaign aimed at young athletes to help promote a healthy lifestyle and better choices.
The “Healthy Me, Better Me” campaign features three of some of the province’s elite athletes: basketball star Carl English, and medal-winning Paralympians swimmer Katarina Roxon and sledge hockey player Liam Hickey.
SportNL executive director Troy Croft says the campaign is tied to three key areas: healthy living, physical activity, and living vape-free.
Croft says promoting a healthy lifestyle is part of organized sport.
