A 30-year-old Musgrave Harbour man has been arrested and charged following a home invasion in Musgrave Harbour early yesterday morning.

Joshua Ash is facing charges of assault with a weapon, break and enter, and damage to property.

Police were called after someone reported that a man had forced his way into a home and attacked a man inside.

The victim was able to escape the home uninjured and called for help.

The two men are known to each other and the incident is not considered to be a random act.
