High school students are heading back to the classroom in a part-time capacity next week, but concerns remain from the last time scenario two was used across the province.
On Wednesday, high school students will begin a modified scenario two approach, comprising of online and in-class instruction.
A similar approach was used for a brief period as the February outbreak began to calm, but was later abandoned with K-9 students heading back to class and high school kids moving entirely online.
The president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers Association, Dean Ingram, says there are still a lot of unanswered questions stemming from the last time scenario two was used.
He realizes changes have been made, but he says they have not seen the full plan yet, and contends that concerns surrounding issues such as physical distancing and curriculum coverage remain.
He says they have received no indication that their concerns have been addressed, noting that we are now living with variants in our midst.
