The town of Harbour Grace is under a boil water advisory.

The town issued the notice on Friday, asking residents to boil all water intended for ingestion for a full minute. That includes all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing of teeth, making of ice, and water used to wash fruits and vegetables.

The town did not immediately provide any information as to the reason for the boil advisory.

The boil water advisory will remain in place in Harbour Grace until further notice.
