Air Canada is committed to re-establishing a direct route from Newfoundland to Europe.
That’s according to Tourism Minister Christopher Mitchelmore, who says efforts are underway to ensure the province has that all-important direct connection.
He says government is working with Hospitality NL and are doing some study work on the issue.
There are some difficulties however due to the MAX 8’s not yet being back in use.
