A 51-year-old man has been arrested following a home invasion in Curling late Monday morning.

RNC were called to a home around 11:30 a.m. after a man gained access to the home while a resident was still inside.

The suspect was arrested a short time later without incident.

According to police, the accused was found in possession of stolen property from an earlier break-in in the Humber Road area.

The accused is facing charges of break and enter (home invasion), theft, possession of property obtained by crime, mischief to property, and three breaches of probation.

The man was held in custody to appear in court today.
