Public Health has announced two new cases of COVID-19 in the province today.
The first case is a woman between 20 and 39 in the Eastern Health region, the second is a man in his 40s in Central Health. Both cases are related to travel within Canada.
There are now 27 active cases in the province.

- Central Health – 1
- Western Health – 11
Most other figures are par for the course—there are no new recoveries and no one is in hospital due to the virus.
Meanwhile, as a result of today’s cases, a travel advisory has been issued. Anyone who traveled on Air Canada flight 8018 from Montreal to St. John’s this past Sunday is asked to arrange for testing.
As of today’s update, the province is reporting that 136,349 vaccine doses have been administered. 126,675 have been vaccinated with at least one dose.
