Clean-up of Virginia River Trail Taking Place Today

An organized clean-up on the Virginia River trail is taking place this afternoon.

Anyone wishing to join in can meet behind St. Paul’s Elementary on Newfoundland Drive or the PIUS X parking lot on Elizabeth Avenue at 1:00 p.m.

Bags and gloves are available.

Participants are instructed to leave filled bags on the side of the trail, or carry them to the first trail/road intersection.
