Newfoundland and Labrador reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, both linked to travel within Canada.
One case involves a woman in her 60s in the Eastern Health region, while the other is a man in his 50s in Central Health.
There are also two travel advisories associated with the two cases, one involving Air Canada Flight 8016 from Montreal to St. John’s last Monday, as well as anyone who departed on Marine Atlantic’s Blue Puttees from North Sydney last Wednesday at 11:45 p.m. and arrived in Port aux Basques on Thursday at 7:15 a.m.
All travellers are urged to arrange COVID-19 testing.
One person remains in hospital due to COVID-19, and there are 25 active cases in the province.
Meanwhile, the case reported on Friday in the Western Health region remains under investigation.
