There was a dramatic accident in Corner Brook in the quiet hours of the night, ending with a vehicle lodged inside of Country Flowers.

The RNC say a vehicle left Country Road around 1:00 this morning, smashed into a utility pole, and came to rest inside the building after crashing through an exterior wall.

The pole and building sustained extensive damage.

Country Road from the intersection of Carmen Avenue to the intersection of Walbourne’s Road will remain closed so that could affect bus routes.

Newfoundland Power has cut electricity in the area.
