The deadline for completion of construction under the residential rebate program has been extended to the end of September.

The program, introduced last year, proved so successful that government is extending the time allowed to have the work completed.

Government received 12,000 applications last year.

The deadline for applications is closed, but the deadline for submission of payment forms is extended to November 30th.

Government is providing a 25 per cent rebate on completed work up to a total of $10,000 on approved applications.
