RCMP are investigating after a Bell Island resident made a disturbing discovery last week.

Police received a call on April 27 from a resident of Basha’s Lane after they found their dog chewing on a piece of bread that had been stuffed with Cheese Whiz, utility blades, and shards of glass.

The owner took the bread away and the dog was not injured.
