The education critic is slamming the reported travel expenses of the Francophone School Board’s executive director.
Barry Petten calls reports that Kim Christianson spent some $100,000 over three years on luxury hotel accommodations and first-class travel “appalling” and “outrageous.”
He says spending what he calls “atrocious” amounts of money is “totally unacceptable.”
Petten says the Francophone school board needs to get its act together, and he’s calling on Education Minister Tom Osborne to take action.
He says the PC Party would not get in the way of legislation to tighten up regulations that would ensure that type of spending doesn’t happen again.
