Those gassing up this morning will notice an increase at the pumps.

The regulated price of gas is up by 3.5 cents a litre, while diesel is up by 1.7 cents.

Furnace and stove oil is up by close to a cent and a half.

Meanwhile, changes have been made to the regulated price of propane heating fuel based on requests made by suppliers last year asking that the maximum price be increased to reflect higher costs associated with alternative methods of supply.

The PUB says the price of propane will reflect an increase of 0.7 cents per litre on top of the weekly benchmark price, as well as adjustments to the total allowed markups.
