A 20-year-old man has a future date with the court after fleeing from police in the metro area last night.
Police say the driver fled from them earlier in the evening but they came across the vehicle once again at 1:30 this morning. The driver was arrested and charged with flight from police and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
The man was given a seven day driving suspension and was ticketed for having no insurance, registration, or valid driver’s license, as well as having an obstructed windshield, obstructed license plate, and failing to transfer ownership.
He was released to appear in court at a later date.
