A young boy from this province is participating in the Shave for the Brave’s Solo Shave Saturday today, with a very special meaning behind his effort.
13-year-old Sam Hull has been participating in the event yearly since 2016 when his dad, Rob, was diagnosed with cancer.
The father-son duo were to participate as a team in this year’s event, but unfortunately, Rob passed away in February. Hull pressed on with the event, now participating in memory of his dad.
Over the last five years, Hull has raised nearly $2,300 for the campaign. However, this year he has set an ambitious target of $10,000, which he reached Friday night.
