The baby osprey that was born live on camera back in July is stretching its wings in preparation for its first flight.
There's been a lot of growing happening in our Osprey NestCAM, and now there's lots of wing stretches in preparation for the first flight. To help get the best view possible, the camera has been zoomed out to see more surrounding the nest. Check it out: https://t.co/CTyxfXhZpC pic.twitter.com/23z75MBvwB

Newfoundland Power has zoomed out its Osprey Nest Cam near the Virginia Waters Substation in St. John’s to better catch the flight when it occurs.
The adults, Beaumont and Hope, were caring for three eggs but such as these things go only one of the chicks survived.
That baby is now gearing up to take to the air.
