A large amount of prescription medication was stolen from the Burin Pharmacy between Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
At 8:30 on May 12, Burin Peninsula RCMP received a report that someone had broken into the pharmacy between 8 p.m. on May 11 and 3 a.m. on May 12.
Suspects forced their way into the pharmacy and stole fentanyl, amphetamine, codeine, and oxycodone among other drugs.
The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP at 279-3001 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
