The Burin Peninsula Highway has reopened following a collision early Wednesday afternoon.

Traffic is flowing once more, following a crash about 65 kilometres from the Trans-Canada Highway between Terrenceville and Dunn’s River.

Calls to the VOCM Newsroom indicate that traffic lineups were at least a mile long in both directions at one point.

Authorities say none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.
