Two men in the Metro area had their vehicles impounded over the weekend.
A 38-year-old man had his vehicle seized after it rolled over in the west end of St. John’s Saturday night.
Shortly before 8:00 p.m., emergency services responded to the accident and treated the driver medically at the scene, where police found that the driver had a suspended license. He was given a ticket and had his vehicle taken.
Meanwhile, around 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning, police received a report of a suspected drunk driver in Paradise. Patrol Services pulled the driver over and conducted a roadside breathalyzer test, which the driver failed.
The 20-year-old driver was charged with impaired driving and impaired driving over 80. His vehicle was impounded and he is set to appear in court at a later date.
