A local company is giving thanks for an anonymous act of good will during these trying times.

Spirit of Newfoundland took to social media recently to give thanks to a business that stepped up to pay the Board of Trade registration fees for 5 companies hit hard by the pandemic.

The business in question does not want to be named, but Spirit of Newfoundland describes them as an “esteemed” business member of the St. John’s Board of Trade.

They say the act of kindness is emotional because it highlights “extreme community” and shows that their peers recognize how the crisis has affected performance spaces.
