A woman whose vacant home was cleaned out by crooks says she is out about $30,000 worth of contents. And the person arrested for the crime? A boy in his early teens.
Pam Jenkins and her spouse are moving to the city region, but they still have their home in Brigus. Three weeks ago, somebody wiped them out, seemingly taking everything but the kitchen sink.
She says they cut the cords from the appliances they could not take such as the deep freeze, they cut the cords out of heaters and lamps and even took the elements out of heaters.
Jenkins posted the news on Facebook, looking for information on who may have been responsible. After receiving some tips, she went to a house, saw nobody was home, and looked through a trash can which was outside.
She says she saw her spouse’s rubber boots and nursing books with her name on them.
