A vehicle crash has shut down a street just west of the downtown area in St. John’s.
Callers to the VOCM Newsroom say just before 11:00 a.m. this morning a car slammed into a light pole on McKay Street and sheared it in half.
The street has since been closed off, with RNC officers and paramedics on the scene. No word as yet on injuries.
