One person was taken to hospital Friday evening following an eye-opening crash in the capital city.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Prince Philip Drive and Allandale Road at around 7:30 p.m.
It appears two cars collided in the intersection, sending one careening into a third car waiting to turn left onto Prince Philip Drive.
Debris was scattered across a portion of the intersection, which was partially closed to traffic for some time, as crew handled the scene.
St. John’s Regional says the driver of one car was taken to hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be serious.
The RNC is investigating the crash.
