The family of the late George Murphy has created a T-shirt in his memory, uniquely designed by a local company and inspired by his last tweet. All proceeds from the sale go to The George Murphy Memorial Fund.
His wife, Joy, says every time they wear the shirt or see others wearing it, it makes them feel more connected to him.
Murphy became a household name in Newfoundland and Labrador as a fixture in consumerism with his weekly projections on the price of gas and heating fuels. He passed away nearly two weeks ago while outside his home in Seal Cove enjoying a weekend at the firepit.
The shirt features a simple picture of a campfire and the caption, “Nudding Like It” based on his final tweet.

Family spokesperson Andrea Marsh says the shirt allows everyone in the province to honour George and his legacy.
