Local chefs will hit the trails in September to showcase their talent and raise money for the Manuel’s River Interpretation Centre.
Chef’s For Trails is getting underway for the second year, showcasing the walking trails around the interpretation centre in CBS and allowing people to try out local cuisine.
Andrea Gosse, chair of Chefs for Trails, says the group wanted to wait until summer ended and harvest time came around to host a big fundraising event.
She says guests can take the trails, stop along the way to taste different food and end off with a social and dessert in the reception hall.
She says the event opens up the trails to more people and exposes its beauty to guests.
The event is planned for September 29. Tickets for the event and outdoor concert to follow are on sale on the Manuels River website.
