A 24-year-old Mount Pearl man has been charged with online child exploitation offences following an investigation by the RNC-RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation Team.
Kaleb Bowering was arrested on July 6th and charged with the transmission of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
Police say both charges stem from an investigation that began after officials were alerted to the online transmission of child pornography in February of 2020.
A search warrant was executed on Bowering’s home in October of last year. The police investigation reportedly unearthed evidence on online child exploitation activities.
Bowering was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on August 10th.
