Expect some slowdowns on the Trans Canada Highway just east of the Avondale Access starting today.
Both eastbound and westbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction as of 9:00 this morning and continuing until Friday evening.
Things will get even more tangly the following week when all lanes will close, and traffic will be rerouted to the Salmonier Line, CBS Highway and Avondale Access.
While the highway will reopen on Tuesday, September 10th, lane reductions will continue.
It’s all part of ongoing work to replace culverts in the area.
