A Paradise homeowner says the town has agreed to put his family up in a rental property while it works on repairs to the neighbouring sewage lift station.
Last week a surge caused raw sewage to rain down on Jim Clarke’s home and property. He says his property is worthless and wants the town to purchase the property so he can move.
Clarke took to Facebook last night with an update on his situation. He says the town agreed to rent his family a home while the station is repaired. He hopes the town will make the “right decision” and buy his family out after being ‘tortured and tormented’ for the last 15 years.
Clarke is now searching for a unfurnished rental for his family to live in on a month-by-month basis.
