The capital city is looking for public feedback on the potential development of two city-owned pieces of vacant land for affordable housing.

There are currently no planned projects on either piece of land, located at 375 Waterford Bridge Road next to the Bowering Park parking lot, and 245 Forest Road overlooking Quidi Vidi Lake and roughly across from the intersection to Cuckhold’s Cove Road.

Residents and businesses in the areas surrounding both properties have been notified and are encouraged to provide their thoughts, opinions and concerns about the potential redevelopment of the properties.

Those interested in providing feedback are asked to register for virtual information sessions.
