Nominations are now being accepted for the province’s highest honour.
There are 110 members of the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador, and now the province is looking for more.
Lieutenant Governor, Judy Foote and Premier Dwight Ball announced yesterday that the deadline to nominate a deserving candidate is September 30th.
The Order of Newfoundland and Labrador recognizes those who have demonstrated excellence and achievements in any endeavour, benefiting the province and its residents.
Recipients will be honoured at a ceremony in January 2020.
The last ceremony was held on January 29th, 2019, where 10 people received the honour.
