Advisory for Topsail Road Starbucks in Paradise
The ongoing investigation into a recent positive COVID case in the Eastern Health region has prompted a special public advisory.
Public Health is asking anyone who visited the Starbucks on Topsail Road in Paradise on the evening of Wednesday, August 11, between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. to get tested for COVID-19. That does not apply to patrons who only used the drive-through.
Testing can be arranged by accessing the province’s COVID-19 website, or by calling 811. Anyone who visited that location and are experiencing symptoms is required to self-isolate until 24 hours after their symptoms resolve and they receive a negative test.
Those who visited the restaurant at that time and who do not have symptoms do not have to isolate until they receive a negative test result, but should continue to monitor for symptoms.
