Police confirm a man injured in a workplace accident in Stephenville last week passed away on the weekend.
Bay St. George say the 55-year-old man was employed by a commercial painting company doing work on the College of the North Atlantic campus when he was seriously injured last Wednesday. He passed away on Sunday.
Two ‘stop work’ orders were issued following the accident.
A police investigation is ongoing in cooperation with Occupational Health and Safety and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
