There are some big plans in the works for Stephenville Airport.
Ottawa-based Dymond Group of Companies has purchased the facility with plans to invest $200 million and create thousands of jobs.
Stephenville Mayor Tom Rose calls it very encouraging news for the area.
He says there’s been a shift in aerospace technology that includes drones and satellites, and Dymond Group needs “significant infrastructure” to carry out their plans.
