A garbage truck caught on fire along the Trans-Canada Highway Wednesday afternoon near the turnoff to Bellevue.
The incident caused the temporary closure of the TCH in the area as members of the Norman’s Cove-Long Cove Volunteer Fire Department knocked down the blaze.
No injuries have been reported.
