The provincial government has released an interactive map detailing the number of people fully vaccinated by region of the province.

Users can select specific regions of the province and see the vaccine stats for that area.

For example, Paradise is shown as having one of the highest vaccination rates in the province at 91.1 per cent fully vaccinated, or 16,973 people.

Conversely, the Baie Verte Peninsula and Bell Island are shown to have the lowest rates. The Baie Verte Peninsula has 68.9 per cent fully immunized people while Bell Island has a vaccination rate of 67.2 per cent.

Area MHA David Brazil recently took to Facebook saying that he has worked with Eastern Health over the last few months to get vaccination clinics set up on Bell Island.

He encourages people to reach out to him if there are any barriers to them getting their first and second shots.
